The director of the movie, Bejoy Nambiar, has well intertwined the four stories in such a way that the audience will stay glued to their television set. The script of the play has been written by Nambiar and Arijoon Srivastava and in terms of dialogues and keen and worthy details it is really good. On the balance of right and wrongs, the good and the evil the story provides the audience with a problem well done.
Music and Tracks
Nevertheless the main attraction remains music score which is created by Vishal Bhardwaj. The pieces created together with the sound of the film are a combination of a wondrous suspense music and a pulse rhythm. The first song in the movie is ‘Mehbooba’ and as per the rough plot of the show, it fits well, but the tune is quite catchy.
Theme Production
“Shaitaan” is a portrayal of the spirit of the characters on the screen as well as the characters on the stage and gives an interesting view on the topics of lies, passion, power and theories of the color black and white. There are some certain positive aspects like the sights which were chosen for the film, the stenography, the number of the Machinist’s ‘fellows’ or the supporting characters required to build up further the background of the story.
