REWIND
An up coming sci-fi thriller movie, called Rewind is Telugu based, and the main characters in the movie are Sushanth and Megha Akash. This is going to be the debut movie of Goutham Krishna and since the releasing of trailer and first look posters, the movie has made a lot of buzz.
Trailer
To be more precise the trailer provides the audience with several minutes of looked time-travel: a young man wakes up one day to discover that he is in the past. He tries to change things and undo mistakes and it begins to trickle over into the present timeline. As a result, in the trailer various aspects of the impending danger are clearly motivated if he misses his assignment. The visuals and background music on the trailer itself is nothing you can beat.
First Look
The first look posters are those where the lead pair stands with an hour glass in the background depending with the time travel theme. Sushanth, particularly, has a intense look as he seems to be out determined to reclaim his previous. I like to see Megha Akash look beautiful and her character looks like a major part of the film. The textures and color grading used in making of the posters provide appealing looks.

He wakes up and starts finding out everything changed in the past causes something new to happen in the present. Once he starts to change his destiny, Siddhu must accept the repercussion of getting involved with time travel. How he approaches the handle this amazing situation shapes the whole dramatic narrative.
Direction and Script
From the posters and the trailers the audience can get an impression that director Goutham Krishna has knitted out a smart script with the hypothesis ‘What if I could change the past?’ It seems like this narrative is switching back to the two timelines to make the reader more interested in the story. The same can be said of the slick production design. Rewind could be a fresh twist on the usual sci fi thriller trope that gets a battering all the time, when in the right hands.
Music and Tracks
With the background score composed by young composer Mahati Swara Sagar, the trailer of Rewind has the right feel of thriller. His songs have choruses that match the liveliness of the movie, and he has composed them. This time, the promotional song Nuvvella Nuvve too has become a big hit with the music being set in groovy beats and the visuals of the song look grand. When you had such a grand hit with The Story song and considering the form that Sagar display on this album, there is a lot of pressure now expected from Rewind complete solo album.
Technical Aspects
Adding a more sophisticated look to Rewind’s science-fiction and time-traveling story appears to be an incredibly sound technical team. Art directors are cinematographer Vasu Manthena and editor Viplav Nyshadam who have done fairly good work in the past. What gives further credibility are that the production house behind the film is U.V Creations, which gives the film scale and production values that are equally as grand. The effects when depicting two timelines to be strong and tightly associated also seem rather polished.
Final Thoughts
Starting from the above assertion of Rewind’s technical qualifications, supported by amusing performances, the show’s concept sounds really entertaining. One wonders if this is the image Sushanth wants to break with this role as he looked and appeared very much like the boy next door. : If both screenplay and narration work, Rewind may well be the next big sci-fi flick to emerge from the Telugu film industry this year. It sure has the potential. The audiences would be able to gather the thrill by Rewind and it could most definitely be a great thriller movie.
