Story Line
KGF Chapter 1 is the 1960s and 1970s backdrop set story of how Rocky (Yash), a small-time rowdy, carves his niche in the history of Sandalwood (Kannada films) by wiping off the iron fist of Belgaum crime lords- Anekal Venkatesh and Kamal Kumar. Rocky, who was originally from Mumbai, ends up being drawn to the mines of Kolar Gold Fields after an underworld don has promised him the same. There he rises through the ranks to become the No.1 man and eventually the successor to the entire KGF empire.
As Rocky makes his way upfront he meets yet another very dangerous character called Annapoorna played by Malavika Avinash who wants the mines for herself. To fully self-realize himself, Rocky begins a fight for supremacy, fame and authority.
