Trailer

Committee Kurrollu having more tension in the air than a Politburo meeting, more scheming than an episode of House of Cards and more risk-taking than a bullfight. It establishes main characters, shows shadow of politics and people in power, and gives us what movie is about. It makes you feel thrilled with great visuals coupled with good soundtracks and an exciting background music too.

First Look

Due to the natural, and raw look and feel of the political movie Committee Kurrollu , the first look posters of the lead cast were adding curiosity. Ravi Babu particularly has done justice to a role of a cunning politician as Kashmira Pardeshi did as a stubborn government official. The color contrast and surface complexity of the first look post is in tune with the type of movie.

Storyline

Basically the story of Committee Kurrollu revolves around Hari played by Ravi Babu who is an opposition leader and a corrupt politician who gets indulged in cutthroat political war against the Chief Minister Vasundhara played by Kashmira Pardeshi, who belongs to the ruling party. Secondly, it’s Hari’s greed for power which ultimately pushes him into outrageous tactics combined with his assistant (Devi Prasad) using his scheming for the benefit of Hari. Principled Vasundhara, now dubs a committee set up by the workers’ union to investigate accusations against Hari as the thing to do. These events are bare knuckled, marked political competition, plain shenanigans, clear scandals, and dramatic tension.

Direction and Script

Over all as a first time director Lakshmi Sowjanya’s style of narration is intense and leaves a clear impact on the audiences. The main idea of hers is crude and it is appropriate given low context nature of the dark subject. In so doing they picked up some of that political part of the rivalry between the two leaders, but also its individual aspect on the personal level. Occasionally, the screenplay appears well-prepared and highly informative owing to the characters’ characterization.

Music and tracks

But of course the background music of movie Committee Kurrollu written by Sunil Kashyap doesn’t help the story per se, it just adds the dramasque mood along with suspense & emotions. Some of the songs like “Padhe Padhe” and “Desam Anna Dam” are distinct and at the same time merge well into the movies’ many-layered political narrative. I like the fact that, altogether, it incorporates those tracks chosen to think of the story while not displacing the narrative is available to watch on ibommatelugum.com.

Final Thoughts

With the Committee Kurrollu having a cinematic and strong political drama, all supported by believable actors. Lakshmi Sowjanya is confident in her directorial debut that centers on the human drama over the face of politics. Based on the combination of the technical and performance factors, it seems that the picture has a great opportunity to meet both the expectations of the critics and ordinary viewer.
